MAKO offers high-impact resistant resins with light weight, high stiffness reinforcements, including woven and multi-axial coated materials.  Synthetic fibers are used for toughness and integrity after crashing, to prevent shrapnel on the track.

The very latest in carbon fiber reinforcements including thin-ply, non-crimp and spreadtow fabrics from Textreme, Sakai Ovex, Saertex, and others are coated with proprietary MAKO resins for rapid cure cycles, high open-hole compression and high toughness for race day.

MAKO resins excel in high temperature applications including composite brake ducts and engine covers.  High Tg epoxy or BMI resins formulated by MAKOLABS are coated on carbon, fiberglass, and aramid reinforcements to meet your high temp requirements. MAKO resins also offer superior chemical resistance to fuels, oils, and other automotive fluids, ensuring long-term durability.

MAKOLABS formulated a unique lightweight, vibration damping film that co-cures with prepreg to extend the life of composite parts subject to cyclic stress, vibration and harshness.  The VR Film can also reduce shrapnel after impact, reducing risk and cleanup on the track. In endurance racing, the Mako Vibration Damping Film can reduce driver fatigue by incorporating between plys of carbon prepreg in composite seat shells, chassis, floor pan and steering wheel.

MAKO prepregs can enhance both performance and visual appeal of your motorcycle exhaust using our ultra-high temp resins that are also water-clear for a jewel-like appearance on your bike. Off-road fenders are made with carbon and kevlar prepregs for lightweight toughness.  Infusion parts can be made with our low-viscosity resin from PTM&W, our affiliate in infusion processing.
